ShipSquared

International and Cross-Border Shipping

Your customers are not all in the US. We ship to any country, with duties-paid (DDP) options, from our Dallas-area warehouse. We can help you pick the right way to handle duties and taxes at the border. We ship to Canada, the UK and any other country, with duties-paid (DDP) options.

What DDP means

DDP stands for Delivered Duty Paid. With DDP, the seller covers the import duties and taxes up front, so your customer pays nothing extra when the package arrives. The other common option is DDU, or Delivered Duty Unpaid, where the customer pays those charges at delivery.

Why it matters for your customers

A surprise bill at the door is one of the fastest ways to lose a cross-border customer. DDP gives them a clear total at checkout. DDU can keep your shipping price lower, but the customer may refuse the package if the charges surprise them. Duties and taxes depend on the destination country and the product, so the right choice varies by brand.

How we help

When you talk with us, we look at where your international customers are and what you sell, then walk you through the options for those destinations. We also have a sourcing office in Shenzhen, China, for brands bringing product into the US.
